these guys are common!! You can always find them in the lps.

No never most the time their breed as feeders. Their to easy to breed most lfs wont buy em if offered. Ive seen the calico convict and that new red convicts for retail cause thier still rare.
You could always do what i did. Get a pair then get a catfish or 2 to help with population control.

Best thing to do is to get 4-6 little ones and let them form a stable pair...

Yea, as long as you buy a male and female, its just a matter of time till they breed
