Double Aquarium Stand

Here is my aquarium stand that I built:
The Base:

Here it is all framed in. I used 3 2x4's on the corners so the top is sittining on the 2 outter 2x4's.

With the tank sitting in it:

Putting the decking on it and building the doors:

The finished product! 55 Gallon goldfish tank on top and 125 gallon SA Cichlid tank on bottom:

Looks great! I do doubles on all my garage tanks but in reverse. Big on top smaller on the bottom.

Nicely done! I may do something like this for a 180 on top, 75 plus sump on bottom. I like how you added a closed area behind door on the side, really adds to the setup, IMO.
