My rd killed everything in the tank except the dovi dnt no wether or no its a female all I no he clearing all the rocks away is he preparing to breed or is he setting boundries

If they do breed I want some!!!! You could create the most aggressive cichlid!!!
 
Her tubes still didn't drop but she's alive and by his side this is my tank this morning do u guys suggest I do a 25% water change or leave them b......

i had this same thing happen.. i had a midas that killed every thing in the tank then after a while i relized that she had laided eggs.. thats why she killed them all
 
She wasn't ready he was ....so I took.her out put my Texas in their hopefully they'll do she look like she ready

Do a good wc I say about 25% with colder water. make sure its only like 4° or 5° colder then the tanks temp now. If you have a water changing hose when you fill the tank back up sqeeze the tip and spray the water kind of like rain. That help get them in the mood.
