Thought I would post a shot of my female dovie with her babies. Took the dad out as he was a chicken.

i think that's just a fry in the foreground... dovii's don't "suck" on their fry.

Sure they do...And move them around for safety like most cichlids do....But on second look it does appear that it is just in front of her.

OK the first shot is of the male she spawned with but I removed him as I want her to spawn with my second male (pic #2) that is growing up with some nicer colour. I am not very happy with the lighting in my first pic - the lights give off alot of green for some reason. He is nicer than that. First male is about 7" second is about 6"
