Water parameters, PH-8.0, GH-5, KH-5, Ammonia-0, Nitrites-0, Nitrates-5.0

Diet Hikari Cichlid bio gold +, Massivore, Tetra freeze dried Krill.

Pretty consistent growth of about an inch a month, this guy within the last month really came out of his shell.

Ours just started becoming social. We separated him, so he is now in a tank alone.. After doing that, for about 3 weeks, he would not come out for anything. He would only eat when we left the room, and as soon as we entered, he would go back and hide. Now when we come to the room, he comes out and swims from one side of the tank to the other, as if he is excited. Def one of my favorite fish.

Thanks... We have had him now about 5-6 months. I was big in the fish hobby awhile back, and just got back into it. We started up a 75 gallon and had himwith a jaguar, red devil and RTC. Obviously all juveniles at the time.
Since then, my wife got pretty obsessed with the hobby and things kind of took off...
Currently he is approximately 6” and in a 60 gallon by himself. Until we get our 250 gallon set up the week of Labor Day (busy work schedule). Once the 250 is set up our fish in the 150 will go to the 250 and his permanent tank will be the 150.
Just for kicks, we have a breeding pair of Motoro Stingrays and our female is currently pregnant... pretty cool. Our RTC is now approximately 14” and growing fast, as they do. We also have a Florida Gar and a Peacock Bass... Our local fish store has a beautiful tiger shovelnose that he can’t get rid of that we probably will be adding soon, in addition... that’s our predator tank. We have a 125 that has an Arowana, some eclipse catfish and some docile South America cichlids. The 75 is still set up with the jaguar, red devil, Texas, butterkoferi and a red terror. We’re going to open the 75 up some once the 60 opens up. Lots of work, but def worth it... Again, we’re a LITTLE obsessed! Lol
