right now im growing out some cichlids in a 75 gallon tank. 2 jags 1 veja argentae 1 geo which is the largest and 1 male dovii and 1 female cuban.
i did not know what the cuban was but i assume its female it follows the dovii wherever he goes and they both use the same hiding spot. the dovii is around 4 inches and the cuban 3 inches. the dovii will give a chase once in awile to the jags but the cuban flares up at the jags and the argentae then they both go back to there hiding spot and hang out. now i know there not close to sexual maturity so what explains this behaviour they have toward one another?
