Alright,
Bruce, my 12" Male Dovii, is about to move into a tank 60"X24"X24". i'm hoping to get a female to go in with him eventually. I personally have no problems with a one of two fish only tank, but my loving girlfriend feels that the fish needs to eat ALL the time. I AM keeping her from overfeeding, but i'm pretty sure that she would do better with the tank if there were more mouths to feed, so here comes my question...
The tank currently holds 3 13" Leporinus Faciatus, a 6" Jack Dempsey that hasn't grown in four years, a 12" Black Belt cichlid that Bruce nearly killed before, and a 12" Oscar. The Oscar, Black Belt, and JD all have homes already, but i like the Leporinus alot... i'm just wondering if it would be possible for the leporinus to live as dithers for Bruce??? there is also the possibility of me expanding the school of them from 3 to 6, all over 10"...
Would these be able to live, or get out of Bruce's way, or would another fish work better? Or, do i need to resort to hiding the fish food again??? lol

Some giant Danios or Rainbow fish may work but I think 13" Leporinus fasciatus may be to big of a threat in the Doviis eyes to coinhabit the tank with.
