dovii and friends

this is my boy, he is 12-13 inches. the butti is 16 inches.

end result, the butti shows subdominant behavior and the dovii swims back to his side.

this was sometime back after the butti broke down the divider. they have a common respect now, the dovii is king and it seems thats all he wants. the dovii will be moved to a 240 in 2 weeks.

It does look like the Butti could take em right on in! But I know that Dovii aint haven that! LOL

thanks guys. that is some bog wood in that pic. the butti can open up wide but the dovii is quick and picks and chooses his angles and it usually ends up like this

your butti is 16 inches? i googled it before and the site i was on said max 12 inches. either that site was full of s or your butti is a record. none the less i love that butti. i have a 7 inch butti and a 4 inch dovii and i do like the butti more. my butti is pretty peaceful had to move him to my big tank cause a same size rd was pushing him around a little.

id check some different sites on size, male buttis can get pretty huge. i got him from a guy who had him in a 600 gallon. he had a female but 2 days before i picked him up she was swallowed by a rtc that was near 3 ft. the female was 12 inches. check out the size difference in the pics..the dovii is 12-plus inches.
