dovii and fry

Hey guys just a little news, my pair of dovii have just layed eggs and the fry are starting to swim about. They are not exactly free swimming just yet but they are getting there. The female is the bigger of the two and she has really beat up on the male. Here are a few pics of them sorry if the quality isnt that great.

that male sure is beat up. he will heal quick though. i used melafix for a week or so and he was good. congrats on the fry

will it be ok to use melafix even with the fry in the tank?

how big are the parents?

I have a pair that are about 4 inch long now ...

the female is about 4-5" and the male is a little over 3"

Bummer is that I came home tonight to only a few fry I think the female ate them. I won't know for sure untill tommorow when I can see better.
