Dovii and Jag

Is it do-able?

It is a 4x2x2 tank right now but will be upgraded to a 6x2x2 then onto a 8x3x3 later (2 years maybe).

I hope to get both males, just because males kick ass and females are drab (in this species anyway).

Tankmates are more CA cichlids.
- GT - male
- 2 Baysnooks - unsexed
- 1 bocourti - unsexed
- 1 pearsai - unsexed
- PBass later down the track (these are a must have, these ain't going nowhere.

They are from 2" to 5".

Will it work, under any conditions? If so what special needs to be done.

yeah it might work. at small sizes they will be allright, but just keep a divider handy just incase the dovii goes nuts.

Yeah i'm pretty sure the jag will be okay, it's the dovii i'm worried about. I know there a wus dovii out there, just hope I get a beautiful wus male.

I wouldn't do it, most of the fish in your list are not at that level of aggression, and I'm not sure mixing Parachormis is a good idea in that size of tank

don't worry about dovii, my male never do anything until he was 12"

It may work. Like fishbee said, the Dovii won't be a wus for long. If you plan on upgrading like you say you will, I don't think it will be a problem.

Dovii grow really fast when they're young. So be prepared for a 12" monster evil flame breathing Dovii in 1 year.

it wont work jags will rule the tank if u get a breeding pair and the dovii is something eles lol i was gonna try it no more though ! lol GL
