I have a umbee and dovii in a temporary tank with a divider but some how the Umbee broke thru and looks like it beat up the dovii. I fixed the divider and they are both separated but what's weird is the white marks on the dovii seem to be getting worse.

My plan is to do daily water changes and add some aquarium salt.

That's exposed flesh, hopefully it is not taking on infection.

I would leave it alone for now,at least until it heals up.

I use seachem stress guard and wounds seem to heal very quickly. Along with water changes. KR have you used this? Opinion?
I have not but I keep this on hand for when any of my fish get severely beaten up.....from the makers of Prazi Pro.

There are a few ways to go about it, water changes and salt is a good idea. I personally use a little bit of mela and pimafix to fend off bacterial and fungal infections setting in. Though I'm not sure I'd do that with the salt at the same time, don't want to stress the fish out. If you're already doing the salt, I'd keep a close eye, if you see any white growth on the wounds, I would probably do a large WC and switch to the mela/pima.

The wounds look the same but on a positive note his behavior is back to normal. Eating and showing aggression.
