Noticed since day 1 both my male and female dovii yawning/opening mouth wide, with the male doing it more often, both fish seem healthy and growing at a normal pace and always wanting to eat. I was curious if this is normal behavior or should I be worried, nitrates never over 5-10. Male is solo in a 210g 6x24x30 and female is solo in a 75g (only 6 inches). Hoping some of you veterans can chime in and give me some insight on this. Water changes twice a week(25% on the 210 and 50% on the 75)

PH 7.8
GH 6
KH 6

No trace of Ammonia or Nitrite?
Adding a Dechlorinator during wc's?

In my opinion the "yawning" is normal.
My male has done it for years. He seems to do it less often now. Several of the species w/larger mouths I have kept have done this over the years.
