mine bred at 5 (female) and 6-7 (male). I got my male at around 5 inches and was told it spawned before
Yep most parachromis will spawn at a very small size ime. Ive had female Dovii lay eggs at 4". The male didn't fertilize though. Im not sure if it was due to age/size though....
Getting the female to lay the egss is the easy part, getting the male to fertilize can be a challenge.
My was well over a foot long before I got a viable spawn, the female was around 11 inches. She laid eggs plenty of times earlier, just no babies.

well they spawned. probably only 100 eggs but i guess thats all you going to get out of some 4-4.5 inchers. i jerked most of the eggs that were on a rock some were on driftwood that they can keep. hopefully they did it right the first time. see in about 3 days.
