dovii breeding

i have a pair of dovii they are both 6" and they are in a 60 gallon by themselves barebottom...usually they just hide and dont move but today i did a 75% waterchange with cold water and almost instantly the male started to get his spots everywhere and they both started lip locking...does this sound promiseing for breeding?

I hope you have plans for at least a 300 gallon tank if you want this to work. Also warmer water is needed to promote spawning.

Are u 100 % sure that u have a male female pair..or is this just from observation...also the colder water technique usually only works with s.a cichlids..and I would make sure ur ph and hardness are both fairly high...and post pics of the fish...so I can see if they are a pair..
