Dovii breeding

A couple of weeks ago I bought a male dovii from coa with the hope of pairing him with the female I already have. He is approx 4-5" and showing some good colours. Within the past couple of days my female has dropped a load of eggs, question is, is he is capable of providing the vital ingredient at this size.........

Yes. My male was 4" when he first had his young. The female was 3" never seen them this small before laying. Still have the videos and pics to prove it.

Heis over 12 now and they just spawned last night

Cheers, what colour do the eggs turn when they are fertilised? There is a couple of white ones, I assume they are no good....?..

White means they are dead, usually the female will remove them

Do the eggs go through a colour change when they are fertilised or do they stay the tan colour?

Good eggs will stay the tan yellowish color, white eggs are no good, here's my jags spawning, all good except for a couple white ones standing out

Wow, I thought mine had laid a lot....... You've got your hands full there!! Any ideas on time till they hatch?

About 2 days , free swimming about a week after. That was my jags first spawning back in February
