Dovii cichlid questions

so i was thinking of getting a dovii to add to the 6x2x2,
but i would like a juvinile to grow out with my jag, in a 50G.
tankmates would be a pleco's, and clown loaches, that i have growing out. and my jardini, could this work, should i add a big oscar or RD to curb any possible aggression?

anyway, tell me what you reckon

no it will not likely work dovii are much to aggro to be in a community 180. and it wii kill the jag in the 50.

It could work for a while, but do it at your own risk b/c dovii will eventually snap. I had a dovii pair w/ a 8-9" male and 5" female in a community 150 and they were fine. I took everything out though when she laid eggs. Haven't been able to put anything back w/ them since they got used to being alone. All the other fish in the community were smaller, like 3-4": FH, red terror, texas, midas, freddie...

I have a 2 inch Dovii and it is already soo aggressive, has the other 3 always at the top of the tank. Mean little f***er!

It wont work with the Jag in the 50, Dovii will kill the jag or the other way around.
The 6x2x2 will not be big enaugh when fully grown.

I know what you mean, after removing over 100 fry in the main tank, one 3/4 inch fry was left, it chases feeder fish twice its size and sometimes even catches smaller feeders, by smaller i mean same size as himself, mean little devil

Yea the dovii will kill the jag I have a three inch dovii that will kill anything I put in the tank but is still very shy
