Besides color, what the difference between Dovii's from different locations? Is one more slender, or bulky? Do they have different personalities? Is one more aggressive? The list goes on....

the nics tend to be a little more streamline then the costas but besides that and color theres no difference that i know of.
The Nics are from lake Nicaruagua and are bulkier, they have the blues in the fins and a purple sheen to their body. the Higueron's are from a river and are more streamlined but have same colors as nics. the costa rican's are also from a river and are streamlined and they have gold and blue colors. Lake nicaruagua has a few streams draining into a couple different countries so collection points will very but a dovii is still a dovii and in a tank raised environment they all have the possibility of beefing up

it depends how deeply you want to look to find differences. Every fish is different. Even brothers of the same batch have their differences. I'd feel happy to have just one.
