how long does it take for the eggs to hatch? its been like 1 1/2 days, and ive never dealt with eggs or fry before.

Depends a lot on the temperature. Warmer (82-84) will usually take 2-3. Cooler (76-78) can take 3-4.

Mine (my fish's) usually hatch in about 48 hours and I keep the tanks about 82.

My spawns (Motas, Midas) eggs usually hatch in 3 days...... temperature is 78-80 degrees. A little longer to be free swimming though. GL on the spawn!

3 to hatch usually 6-8 for free swimming.

Once they are free swimming you can start feeding baby brine shrimp and crushed flake

so i got WIGGLERS! i think im going to place them in one of my tanks that is overun with copepods for food, once freeswimming.

CONGRATS !!!! You can usually wait a few days to take them out. I usually wait like a week unless they start getting picked off by other fish.
