how can i tell if the male fertilized the eggs? she laid eggs like three weeks ago and they all turned white and died. now she laid eggs again yesterday and it looks like all the eggs have a tiny white dot in the center of them. does this mean that they got fertilized? because i dont remember the last batch of eggs haveing that white dot in the center. thanks in advance.

mine 4-4.5 inchers layed about 125 eggs and only 15 were fertilized. the first sign to be able to tell if there fertilized to take a flashlight and shine it at the eggs carefully look for 2 small black dots. those are the eyes. usually takes 2-4 days to see them. mine took awile. i didnt see eyes until day 3 and they didnt wiggle until day 5 and free swim until day 7.
