Whats the best meal for dovii cichlids?

Mine eats Hikari Carnivore Foodsticks or NLS in the mornings and Massivore Delight in the evenings. Twice a week I feed him nightcrawlers, krill, market shrimp or some other goodie.

make sure you give him a varied diet. high quality pellets is good when they are younger - hikari cichlid gold is great. then start giving him things like prawn and feeders and he will start to bulk up nicely, try keeping pellets as his main diet as they can start to refuse them - making for an expensive and fussy fish to feed

Mine are tiny tiny, probably about 1" - 1.5". I feed them frozen Mysis shrimp from hikari. This food works great in my reef system, its high in nutrients so it should work great with my dovii's. I throw in a couple biogold+ pellets but they don't eat them because there a little to big for their mouths.

Sweet i got them on hikari gold stick pellets and small guppy feeders here and there. But whats good to help them grow quicker there at about 1.5'' to 2'' right now.

Hikari Massivore Delight will bulk them up. You'll probably have to break the pellet into smaller pieces for your little guys.
