Took these pics a few min. ago. Shows him form a different perspective, some were with the flash others not. Tried to just get him to show up good with the lights on and off.

  1. WOW!!! :WHOA:(what's up with the 1. can't seem to delete it)
I'm luvin the colors on this cichlid!!!
If I was to get a Dovi, I'd want it to be exactly like this one.
:headbang2
I've always loved wolves(K9's), & have considered getting a Dovi since it might be a little easier to care for & equally as ferocious as a wolf.
Now to search for a proper tank.:naughty:

How big is he?

Looking great bro:) Gotta love the colors on the Dovii's:) cool shots too. If i tried to take overhead shots of my large male like that he would be trying to jump out and eat me lol

Awesome fish man! Ice got one in my biggest tank that psird with me old jaguar. Feeding raw shrimp really brought out some intense blues and greens. I also periodically use metal halide lighting for the plants and I kinda think it has an effect as well. Really one of the most amazing fish out there.

Yea this guys a nut. I took the pics with water about half way down during a water change. Towering over the tank made him think a little. He is always slamming into the tank, first thing to hit the water either the python, cleaning magnet or food gets nailed. Not to mention him slamming the lids all the time.

Thanks for the comments guys, the shots were something differen, showed how thick he is getting.;)

Nice pics and great colors, good form he's really healthy looking very nice.
