I have some half inch baby Dovii and was just wondering what i can expect on growth rate,they attack frozen brine shrimp and eat till full three times a day,i do 25% W.C.'s everyday(heard this is good for growth).What would be good Temp for water??Thanks.

mine seemed to thrive right around 80 degrees. maybe a couple degrees lower. I'd expect with constant water changes and good conditions they'd grow pretty fast. once they reach a certain point they'll be growing 1/2-1 inch a month. well mine did atleast!
unfortunately, my red devil, mangler, was lost about a month ago when i was forced to move him to a 40 gallon on super short notice and i had to try to do a really fast cycle and a fungus took over the entire tank. I saved everyone else besides him ='[

They grow very fast. i got 4 dovii 2 females and 2 males on aug 5th at around 2 inches and we 3 months later and my two males are 6 inches and my females are around 4 and half to 5 inches. Drastic change very fast
With proper tank size, diet and frequent wc They should grow close to an inch a month. Well at least the dominant ones LOL. Also higher temps ie low to mid 80's will boost metabolism too
