Dovii growth rate

Novice question: how quickly do young dovii (around the 2-3 inch mark) grow? Should I be expecting around an inch per month with a good feeding regimen?

Thanks in advance, been out of the loop too long.

mine has grown at about 1.5" a month. and is getting thick, hes 7.5" right now.

In good conditions, Dovii grows real fast (I rather say more then inch in a month).
Try to mix with few kinds of food- Tetra bits, Tetra Doromin and Omega-one Cichlid pellets would be great- or any other Omnivore food. Try to diverse with different kind of live, unprocessed food, such as California and Red worms, Shrimps and more.

I just bought 2 dovii . There currently at 1/ 1.5 inch . I have them house in a 180 gallon with a 4 inch buttikoferi. 2 2inch escadon,and 4 inch jag . And about 7 other african cichlids . I'm feeding them hikari cichlid gold three times a day . An water is about 79/80 degrees . Is this an okay environment for them to thrive and get big

ya if you can afford it bump it up to around 85 and get some massivor
