How fast do male and female dovii grow?

Generally it's different for each fish.. Some have had them grow an inch a month up to 12", mine have grown a bit slower. Many factors play a role but they do generally grow fairly quick.

Ok because I do frequent water changes to make sure the water quality is doing well and when I got my male dovii he was about 3 inches and smaller than my grammode but he as already outgrown him and is about 5 and a half to 6 inches now in a matter of 2 months...

seem's like some good growth is happening to your dovii that good to hear about it...as for my 2 wild caught males are still around 2-3" and have grown about 1" or so since I first had them which was about a month ago

That's not bad! I see you have a grammode...how do you like him so far? Mine is fairly timid but maybe that's because he's not the most dominant one in the tank anymore.
