hey guys! its been awhile...
i just got my 220g set up at home again and moved my 10" Nicaraguan dovii and 14"female jaguar in. it seemed like as soon as the sand settled the jaguar laid eggs. now its been a few weeks and i have 1000-1500 free swimming .75" fry...im going to grow a few out but i was hoping to rehome the rest. notta one of the local fish stores is interested however.... only one of the three local places seemed to even know what dovii were.
anyhow, ill post some pics as soon as i can get a legit photo.

cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

my brother in law wants to attempt to keep one with his oscar so he,ll take a few...craigslist brought in 2 other folks.
both of the craigslisters were thinkin it would be a great addition to their 40g with JDs. NOT HAPPENING!
the shoal is thinning itself out as they grow. i hate to say it but most of them will probably end up food for something. which i think is probably better than some dorks 40G with a bubblefilter...
the wet spot said they cant take any but id give them to anyone local as long as they know they have possible dovii sized hybrids.
its so hard to get pics of the babies but it'll be no time and they'll be...more photogenic.

This is the type of hybrid you should keep in your own tanks and not sell to people. Parachromis x parachromis species is just going to be a watered down parachromis and whoever ends up with them is going to be wondering "I wonder what this is." They will probably mistake it for one of the other original species and breed it back to a purebred to have even more watered down hybrids. Same idea as breeding a midas with a red devil.

Well, ive held on to 4 of these guys and they are growing like crazy. Sorry my camera phone is the only way to get pictures on here and it just can't keep up with them enough to get anything clear. I would love to get some doviiXdevils down the road, my emale red devil is just too damn mean though.
