I have a smaller Dovii that used to live with my breeding pair and I always assumed she was a girl.
I have since sold the pair and made sure the fish has developed some condition and size but now think that she is maybe a he.
What do you all think??

P.S. I am talking about the smaller Dovii in the video :D

Yes, it was the colour that first threw me also, she was really beaten up and not really a fantastic specimen.
Then after 6-8wks she put on size and condition but started showing alot of colour but no yellow like her sister so I started to have my doubts about the fish's sex.
The video doesn't really show the blue/green of the fins, operculum and flanks but I will grow her out more and see how the fish develops.

It's all good, the fish he posted looks like this fish's sister, obviously she doesn't have the base yellow of her sister.
Any other opinions??

you got a female there. See if that male u have takes a liking to her.

if you remove that divider and the big one kills it, it was a male, if you remove that divider and the male kills it three weeks later, it was a female.
