Dovii laid eggs,.she is really agressive now,and is constantly attacking the glass.should i not feed her while shes guarding the eggs.I heard that when the attempt to spawn they wont eat,but only guard eggs

That is usually the case, I would keep an eye!! Seperation will ensure the frye survive!!

I would feed sinking foods and she probably will eat some but not as much as normal. she'll need to keep her energy up wether the eggs are fertilized or not.

yes she is alone........why wont she eat.It seems every time i have a female cichlid laying eggs they wont eat.

just got a bad algae bloom....whats the best thing i can do.......should i do a water change.Theres only one fish which is the rd.

Rd? you put a red devil in with her?

Any as for the algea bloom, water changes can help, but the color should go away on its own eventually.
