can someone tell me the best light to use for a dovii and what is the best thing to feed them for color.....i am now feeding them bloodworms, live shrimp, raw shrimp,a little bit of feeders, and pellets i feed them atleast 2 times a day my biggest one is around 5 inches

I would suggest to use any light that would give the similar light to its habitat. They are a river fish that needs sand rock and wood. I would choose a light that is not too bright. Giving them too much light will cause them to move lower into the tank. They prefer to me middle tank, so a dualer light will allow them to stay at that natural level. Check the specs on some at the local LFS and go to a hardware store and buy a light in the same range. You can get more lights for the price and return easier if they do not work. Just play around with the lighting and see which allows them to stay at middle level but does not over power them and force them to the middle of the tank... It will also matter in the hieght of your tank. The taller the brighter you can go. Shorter get less bright light.
