I've seen dovii spawn at 4" so you might get lucky.

okay cool, that may explain the male going physco in last week

Yah, is the male shaking his head at all? My salvinis and texas cichlids allways shake their heads allot before they spawn. Also if the male is coloring up whenever he is with the female and then does a little "dance", that means they will defenitely spawn soon.

aint seen much dancing but will keep a close eye
always seem to be in same spot together
aint seen tubes drop either
but would love them to spawn they represent a big investment for me so kinda need offspring
