Dovii or crossed?

Hi,
Rescued this off someone who swore it was a crossed cichlid but didn't know), looks a bit like a Dovii to me but when they're young cichlids all seem a bit similar - I got a couple decent pics and it kinda does look like a Dovii but it looks different too ?‍

?It's what I meant, they reckoned "probably red Devil with, uh," so I discounted completely what they said and got to the Dovii part then ground to a halt as I'm no expert in them or crosses

i would say female dovii cross the a barred Midas??? i dunno but cool fish keep us updated

She/he/it seems happy in the tank I set up for it for the moment.
The sump is a full sized 3 footer, the actual tank on top is half a ton, nobody can ID the tank either. The biggest Aqua one in this shape is nowhere near as big.
It's on an aluminium stand and I begin enclosing the bottom with sign type aluminium sheets (aluminium with plastic sandwiched in the middle). The pump is a 5000lph set on slowest/10 settings

They were definitely on to something. My best guess is midevil x dovii

Update video - I used to think it was happy when it wagged and wriggled at the glass but one day as I turned away I heard a thump. Turns out (I think) it's trying to get at me - the glass on the front and sides of that tank seems to be 2.5cm but it can't be, im surprised I can head it thump on the glass at all ?‍
