Dovii or Jaguar? I.D. Please

I bought this lil guy and I cant tell what he is, however under the name "Dovii Cichlid" from a very respectable lfs. The employee said they were most likely dovii, because the they have a large indoor pond in the front of the store full of giant dovii, red devils, oscar, rtc, tiger shovelnose, rays, jags, turtle, arowanas, and many others. They found the fry in the pond of monsters, and sold them. I wanted a dovii for a while and they said they were not getting many in stock for a while, so I got one. There were 3 left, of the original 40 which were there for 4 months. They were only $1.50 so of course i got one. Is Fluffy (name of fish) a Dovii or jag? Thanks.
He was fed bloodworms at the store and I'm currently training him on pellets. He/she is about 2 inches and housed in a 135 at the moment.

Alright, thanks for the help. Sorry to ask for more but is it too early to tell if it is a Nicaraguan or Costa Rican dovii? If not, how can I confirm which is which? Haha, last question.

Way to early. Costa Ricans have more of a taller profile when older. Nics are more stream lined from what ive seen. There's also a yellow version that I think may be Costa Rican. My experience & what ive researched.

A female would be pretty cool & stay manageable. Ive debated getting a female for awhile now. Males get so nasty if they dont have a huge tank.
