Need better pics. These do look more like dovii than jags, but could very well be freidrichsthalii/multifasciatus. They sort of resemble female dovii but look like they have too much spotting in the unpaired fins, at least in these pics.

Agree, although the name loiselle is no longer valid, it's "neither" dovii, nor managuense.
And the term jaguar is sort of a generic term often interchangeable with/
for either, managuense, multifacsiatum, and friedrichsthali, sometimes even motaguense
So what would it be?

These are not jaguar or dovii. These are what they used to call loisellei, which now I believe are friedrichsthalli. The worming pattern on the forehead is what gives it away.
There is always a chance there was some mixing going on, so it's pretty much impossible to give a 100% ID on random lfs cichlids. But they are definitely parachromis, and of the parachromis, looks closest to the (loisellei) freddy.
