Hah I use to do the same thing w/ the magfloat on my male Dovii a few years ago. He use to stuff that thing all in his mouth. He hated that thing!

Both fish were purchased from the Fish Farm (Ken Davis). The male was purchased in March 2009 and the female was purchased nine months later in December 2009. They were both around 3" when I got them.
