I would like to ask first since I got a pair of Dovii that I may considered of selling it some times soon. It is a proven pair that has had a successful breeding of about 150 frys(first time bred). The male is currently 8" and the female is 7". Also forgot, they are both Nicaraguan. Please be honest and tell me a reasonable price, not a ridiculous price or a price that you will get swindle off of. Help a ]\/[onster out and don't try to swindle your own kind. Thank You. :D

The one thing I bought from Aquarium Adventure was a proven pair of F1 Jags male 11" and female 7" for about $80 I always thought that was steep but I do love them

How long have you had them?

How much did you pay?

I had them for roughly about...5 month almost half a year(8"&7" now). I got them for $20 ea(about 4" or 5" ea when I got them). These were the ones that I gave it to my cousin(and they bred within a week) since I can't house them anymore. But my cousin decided to gave it back to me since he is going to go to school far from home after 2nd semester start. They will be able to live in the temporary home I gave to them for a while. Maybe another year or so max? So I might decide to sell it soon if I can't manage to buy a perm home for them. Right now, I just want to know how much would a pair be if it was to be for sale. :nilly:

You kind of just have to say a price, if that doesnt work take offers. Somtimes you can't compete because i have seen them fromm 120$ LFS , to 20$ for a pair from somone going through issues. Good luck

Yeah I kind of see that in a way. But I just want a reasonable price for it to start off. :D

Well technically you always lose money when selling fish. I would take them to the LFS if you want money. Sell them for 40$ if you want a good home.

Even if it was a proven pair that laid eggs and hatched successfully? Awww, I always thought it would be more. Anyone else?
