Dovii Pair

Hi all, I have a young pair of Dovii that just laid eggs yesterday. First time breeding. When the eggs hatch should the fry be taken out right away and, if not, how long can they be left in the tank with their parents? I think everything looks good so far. I hope the eggs hatch since this is their first run at it.

I have left fry with my old trio for around a month I would say if you plan on raising some this would be the best Idea. As with most species it's usually best to remove the fry before the parents begin to spawn again.

You will have to cover that intake or some of the fry will be sucked up into the filter.

At what size do dovii pair off?? I had four and within two days ihad two left 2.5 inc male and female
