Hi! guys i would love some help and tips , so i bought this dovii a few days back from my LFS it said N-Dovii and male , im guessing that means nicuaragua dovii because apperantly there is other variants such as the cuba one that is more blue and gets a little longer but but not as high if i remember it correctly ? my questions are :
-Food i want to know everything you guys feed yours since i find it more fun to feed them alot of different foods atm i have JBL stick cichlid food , Jumbo carnisticks , and hikari sinking gold pellets , i have yet to try to feed him shrimps and such since i only got him 2 days ago and he's been quite shy ,
-Fin recovery how long should i expect it to take ? his in a 100g by himself at the moment my plan is to within the next 6 months move him alone to my 190g ( 6.5 x 2 x 2 ) i've had RTM's in the past a pair but sadly got rid of them within 1-2 months becuase i really didnt enjoy their breeding process smacking around the tank at such speeds.
-General tips please send pics of your doviis and your history which tanks you had them in , how fast they've grown , how big of a tank what you've fed them etc etc the more info the better thanks
i've tried to google quite alot about growth rate but barely got any info on it .
My photos arent the best , i'll also link a quick video of him keep in mind that he's rather stressed he didnt take the transport that well i was pretty sure i would lose him the first day he just laid sideways for 10 hrs, so im super pleased that he's looking better now !!
