Figured I would do a progress thread of my Dovii if anyone is interested. I’ll try to get some updated pictures every couple weeks or so. I got him on 12/30/19. He was probably 2” - 3”. He is now probably 5” - 6”, probably closer to 6”. Canine teeth became visible a couple days ago.
He is in a 90 gallon with a JD, Jaguar, RD, pair of convicts, couple giant danios, 3 silver dollars, and a BN pleco. All the cichlids are living pretty peacefully as of now. I got the silver dollars to act as dithers. Jaguar and Dovii both got ahold of 1. Both escaped though and are still alive.
Plan on rehoming fish when it gets to the point when I need to. I will eventually have a single Dovii most likely.
I do plan on getting a larger tank eventually by the way. Most likely a 180.
