Dovii question

So I got my 75g tank and am wanting to put me RD Fh in it, have been reading up on Doviis and I know that they are aggressive, but I love the way they look. Do you think I would be able to keep them both happily in a 75g together?

Not for very long. I am getting to the point where I can't keep anything in a 180 with mine and he's just under 8".

not for any more than maybe a year. aside from how aggressive they are, they also grow way too large for a 75 gallon

I had a female Dovi in a 150 gallon with mixed ca cichlids lasted 2 years till she went off on all the tankmates the only 2 she did not mess with was a 14 inch Jag and a 10 inch synspillium.

Yeah I wouldnt risk those 2 in a 75. Bad enough those 2 are very territorial plus super aggressive.

Dovii are very aggressive! I have a 3-4 inch male and hes an a@*hole! Even when he was about 1 inch he was mean! I have another small female about 1.5 inches and it picks on the silver dollars which are tennis ball size.
