Hey, Have kept fish for a while, always loved larger Central and South American Cichlids. I currently own 3 tanks. A 20 g., a 45 g. and a 90 g.The 90 is my newest as is the 9" Wolf Cichlid who inhabits the tank alone. I really scored with this guy or girl? Very hard fish to find around here. Shows great almost Male coloration but the dorsal, and anal aren't super long or wispy pointed. I was told that at this particular size the anal and dorsal should have long extended very pointy fins to be truly a male regardless of coloration? I'll post pics soon. Thanx.

Gonna need to upgrade soon you need a much larger tank to keep it for life will hit 20+ inches 90 is no where near big enough.
Thank you. I do realize that, but for now it still is 9". I've read males to 28", and females much smaller especially in captivity.
hello i have a dovi as well... i dont know if this helps but here is pic for comparison... let me know what you think... he or she is with oscar and JD... the dovi picks on the JD blike crazy but the oscar rules the tank...
