I had copped a Rose Queen the day before I left for vacation in key west when I got back my dovii and RQ were on top of each other under the rock that the dovii calls home. He never lets anything back there but he lets the RQ I have seen him shaking his fins at the RQ. The RQ has been digging out sand behind the rock where she spends most of her time. The dovii patrolles the tank and will check on her every once in a while and swim under the rock and protect her like u can see in the photo. He also gets extremely aggressive and angry when she moves from the rock out to a different spot. The dovii will circle the RQ while flaring his gills and will sometimes tail slap her. Until she hides then he attacks all the fish he sees around her. I know 100% the Dovii is a male and I'm pretty sure the RQ is a female. What do you guys think?
