dovii tankmate dilemma

So, my dovii currently has a old jaguar as a significant other. I recently got a beautiful red devil in exchange for some hybrid fry. I'm considering moving the jag to another tank and seeing how the dovii and RD work together. My only current issues with aggression is between the 2 girls through the divider. So should I mess up a good thing between the jag and dovii or try to change things up by moving the jag out? Whatchya all think?

If you have any fish and a dovi in harmony I would not mess with that you have a good thing going. How long is the dovi and what's the tank size?

Got a good point there. Albert the dovii is pushin 14" and he's in the 220g. I left 5 fry in there that are pushin 1.5" that school with the parents as well. I guess I'm just restless and wanna change things up, maybe more driftwood then, that slways helps. Thanks for the input friends
