Dovii vs Tilapi Butikoferi

I was wondering which cichlid is more aggressive or a more badass fish. Dovii or butikoferi. Seems the pet stores always talk about butikoferi being the meanest.

I did have a 3 inch butikoferi murder my tank of 12 , 3 inch long mbuna cichlids once. Got rid of that fish.
 
dovii might have a slight chance of winning. but the butti never backs down and never gives up from my experience.

I have seen Dovii bang the glass after careless hands, but never seen the Tilapia do that. But with either one, feed 'em a couple times and they won't be aggressive towards you.
 
OMG...All my fish are gone including my dovii. the butti out grew every little mbuna in my 55 then in the 240 the butti killed my jag,dovii,and festae. Dovii's have teeth,and the dovii is smart. the butti is alot more powerful, the butti would open it's mouth and slam the crap out of any fish he fought. I'm going with butti's.
 
My old Dovii was just brutal. The only fish I think he'd lose to would be my wolf fish, even then I think the wolf fish would get damaged badly.
 
I would say dovii, they get bigger, stronger, and have better equipment...and seem to have more of an inclination to use them. I've seen cichlid comm's with butti's living somewhat peacefully, something you rarely if ever see with adult dovii.

What about umbee?

I don't know about Devoii, But i know that for the last year a frind of mine tried to put wild caught Tilabia nilotica with any other cichlid including Oscars, Jaguars , Other african cichlids including jewel cichlid, It dosn't matter what kind , It doesn't matte,r the diffrenc in size, The other fish will always look like going throw a blender, I don't like the idea of puting any fish with a tilabia
