Got a 12+ inch dovii in a 250g, i got some dithers fish for him, but he was too aggressive (as if that was unusual) towards them so i added a glass divider. Now the dovii stays near the divider all day, trying to get to the bala shark. Is this ok ? Not sure if i should remove the bala shark to another tank

Dovii will be in a constantly tense state, which will induce stress; I'd remove all other fish as the previous poster suggested
well the more dithers you have. the more spread in aggression. obvious he would want to kill bala.
