i have two dovii that r breed on a reg. now heres the deal i am looking at getting a 300 for them and i want to move them into it first off will they keep breeding and they seem to b gettin along ...if i flip them to a new tank will he freak out and kill her ......

you never know with dovii. put the female in the new tank first and let her get settled. then introduce the male. provide hiding places for the female good luck.
thats what i was thinking i was also thinking about getting a didvider for the tank and cutting holes in the eggcrate that she can get thru but not him i really hte to see egg crate and yeah with a 300 i will deff. have a few spots for her to hide in ...im just worried they r doin awesome now.. i hate to break that up and have him kill her
Yea, be careful back in the 90's I did that with a breeding pair of Jags and moved them at the same time. The male killed the female within hours(my mistake for not watching them).
