Just wanna check with you pros on the forum. I took the kids to the national zoo last week and they must have had close to 50 of these guys in the tank along with some pacu, catfish and a bunch of other fish I didn't know. A few of these Dovii had to be close to 2ft of more I mean huge. Made me wanna get one but I certainly can't house one of those monsters. Looks like the ones at the Chattanooga aquarium and yes they are Dovii.. There was one boss that owned a 1/4 of the tank, spawning with a couple females. The one in your video looks great, thanks for sharing.
The National Zoo in Dc. Not sure how big the tank was took up half the bottom floor, I mean Ginormous. It was really cool to see them from 6" up to about 2ft. Lots of em too. I wasn't sure because the smaller ones you couldn't see the blue. The lfs here doesn't have em so I had never seen them except for on the web. Really amazing fish though! Large Arapaima's also.
