my local lfs has dovii for sale there approx 3-4” just now
Always wanted a pair of dovii
Few questions
Would you get 6 and grow them out and wait until they pair like normal cichlids ?

Filtration
Thinking large hmf style with pond filter foam panel in a corner with pump to a trickle filter tower
If I go for it I’d like a stingray would this work with dovii ?

Would be setting up as a tropical tank
Won’t let me add link
But it’s an 8’ x 6’ x 3’ high fibreglass koi pond with viewing window
Obviously buying second hand not paying this price
It would be centre of fish room
Would foot traffic cause to much stress for dovii

If you get a dovii pair, nothing can go in with them.

Buy one , wait till it grows large enough to sex, then buy(of other sex) another from a different vendor, when introducing them to each other use a dividing screen at first.

Buying a bunch from the same group just results in a pair of incestful , inbred offspring.
