I Just purchased a 8” Dovii looking to grow him out. Any tips on achieving that goal , he is currently housed in 220 gallon tank temp is set at 80 degrees. I feed him twice a day food sticks , water change haven’t done yet, he’s only been in the tank a few days

Water changes like crazy - and good quality food . I find flow in the tank helps as well. 80 is fine, but you don't have to keep it that high. That's some interesting aquascaping there w/ the filters on the gravel - is he that aggressive already

I bought the dovii and I had him in my Predator tank (210) temporary so I could I can get the water right in my 220, I just moved so I threw my 75 gallon filters in the 210 to keep bacteria alive , the 210 was my old dovii tank but I lost them in the move, so I had my Midas 2 female doviis red devil and rtm housed there till I set up my other tanks but they were beating him up so I swapped fx6 on my 210 and 220 and threw the filters in there to help get water ready faster and i put the dovii in there. I left filters in there for a few days and didn’t feel like taking them out lol
