i was wondering if a F1 dovii could get as colorfull as a F0 dovii if had enough filtration and a proper diet.

The answer is no, even though in some cases some 2nd generation and so on dovii can display great colors there genetics will never be that of there wild parents thus making them lack what we all seek in wild cichlids. Dustin honestly you dont have the tank to care for such a large investment of time and money. Please buy a larger home for your current collection of fish before jumping into a commitment like that of owning a male dovii.
