Down to 2 fish in the 210. Dovii & Jag

As in a previous thread I talked about reducing my maintenance. I now in my 210 have an 8 inch male dovii and a 10 inch female jag. The dovii hates all other fish but is fine with her (for now). My plan is to let the dovii have the 210 all to himself in about 3-4 months. I will post pics tonight when I get to a camera. My question is for those who have raised dovii or jags successfully to large sizes.

What is the best way to grow me a monster dovii? Water temp? Diet? Any suggestions would be great.

same as anything really temp around 80, varied diet and clean water with alot of space will make him grow fast as poss.

Here are some pictures of the pair. I am watching closely as the Dovii has been acting suspiciously interested in her, flairing up a few times.

They both look lights out man! Funny how such small Dovii's command ultimate respect from ANYTHING that swims....I would like to see any other cichlid punk that dovii....Any size..... Dovii are unparalleled when it comes to aggression....Jags are P****** next to a dovii

My male got huge with:
Temp of 80
Weekly 50% water changes
Diet of Hikari Cichlid gold / raw shrimp / freeze dried krill / nightcrawlers.
240 gallon tank with only female dovii and pleco as tankmates.
