Hi all, I have a little dwarf puffer, and she has been getting a little thin towards her back, like starting right behind her pectoral fins. She gets roughly a pea sized amount of frozen blood worms every day, once a day, and she eats all of it hungrily. Am I not feeding her enough food, or could she be stressed? I have her in a 2.5 gallon tank with an internal filter, a heater, and lots of plants, but there is a little bit of an algae problem, that I plan on cleaning up soon. She is the only fish in this tank. Thanks.

If she can eat more, try feeding her a little more each meal till shes got a nice round belly...

Definitely feed more. If you notice it's still not gaining any weight, treat for internal parasites.

she is starting to worry me, she just sits on the bottom of the tank for a lot of the day, and i tried feeding her more, but she only ate like 3 worms. she always keeps her tail curved off to one side, but it is not like she is scared, could it be broken? Please help save this puffers life.
what should i use, and do i have to put her in a different tank so the plants don't die? she is the only fish in the tank. thanks
